I went to California

And had a REALLY great time with my family.The trip there was a little long but I slept the whole way through and was sooo quiet she didn't hear a peep from me.Mom never realized how heavy I could be until she toted me from Check-In to the terminal.At first I didn't understand to stay still but after her traveling with me on her shoulder for a while I realized I had to lay down and relax and let Mommy do all the walking while I watched.We finally got to LAX and Mom had to take something called the Flyaway to Van Nuys and that's where I met Pop-Pop for the first time.I really liked him at first but once we got to his house I was a little weary cuz it was a whole new environment for me to adjust to and felt I had to stay watch of my mom.And Boy did I want my Mamaw.I don't know this guy!!Who is he?
On this venture I met my Aunt Maria(Mom's best friend),Pop-Pop,Uncle Ben and Aunt Leonora(again)And alot more people.I also went up to Palmdale and jumped of a big truck(4 1/2 feet high) got myself out of the back yard and was found a block away by some young kids and terrified my mom but was found after mom heard me bark she ran up a hill and found me hanging out in someones backyard.
There's more but boy are we tired.We had a red eye flight,got into Columbus at 6:45 a.m. went to daycare(mom went to work) so we're turning in.

California

I can't wait,I can't wait,I can't wait!!!! Mom and I are headed to California in 2 days.I'm soo excited.Mom says she's totally ready to get outta Ohio for 1 week.And I went to the vet on Wednesday and got shots..OUCH!! That wasn't very nice and Mom say's I'm ready to fly.FLY??? We're flying?? What's that?? She says I'll have to go in that small crate for a few hours(she didn't say how long) and wait till we get to Cali to get out.And that means No potty breaks,How come?I'll get to finally meet my pop-pop and Aunt Maria and her 2 doggies which means FRIENDS!!! I like making new friends.She also says we might get our pictures taken and go to a doggy park she found and maybe the beach.I've never really been to the beach.Well thats it for now because Mom has to get us ready to get out the door so I can go to daycare and have myself a fun day at my favorite place DAYCARE!!!!

Daycare

Boy have I had a busy week.Mom has taken me to daycare for the last 3 days and I'm gonna tell you,It's hard being Sampson.Shhhh,I'm sleeping now but you wait till Mamaw gets home and I'll be soooo excited to see her.And the best part about it is....No daycare tomorrow.Don't get me wrong about daycare.I LOVE,LOVE daycare but I'm telling you,It's hard being Sampson.Mamaw is off tomorrow so when Mom takes me potty in the morning I'll come up those stairs and go sleepy with my mamaw.Mom tells me she get's off work early and'll be home and they're making me....Spaghetti!!! I LOVE spaghetti.Have I told you I LOVE spaghetti!!! Yum.

The Dead Squirell

Mom was a little suprised when I brought my very first dead squirell to the back door.Mamaw let me out to go potty and I brought back this dead squirell to show her what I had found.I acted like Mr Tough Guy trying to protect my family from this beast they call squirell.

Spankings

Last night mom took me out to go potty and I decided since Sport was out I'd go over there and chat with him.5 minutes into my conversation Mom was calling me.Sampson,Sam,SAMPSON!!!!!! SAM!!!!!!! Over and Over.I never came when called and I could hear the worry in her voice but I was BUSY talking to Sport.She went upstairs put her shoes on and went outside calling me again.Still I was having a conversation so I wasn't coming.She went out into the front yard looking up and down the street,maybe I had gone to Macky's,maybe Sport's??She was really getting scared.She heard my collar(luckily she puts tags on me,like my rabies,city and ID tag with her name,my name and a phone #)off in the distance but as soon as she saw me with Sport at his house it was ALL over from there.She was really upset with me.
First infraction was I didn't come when called
Second infraction was I didn't stay in the yard and
Third infraction was I surely left the yard when Lady the butthole German Shepherd could've been out and attacked me again and as Mom say's we don't need that!!!!!!
So,OUCH!!!! I got spanked and I went into my crate for safety.
Mom just loves me,she's weird when it comes to me and being safe!!!

Family Ties

Wow,I've never met my Uncle Ben and Aunt Lee and I think I like them.They came all the way from California to see my great mamaw, gramma,mom and me.I've had soo much fun.Friday mom took the day off of work and we rented a van,went to Kentucky.I hadn't napped all day seeing how sooo much was going on around me.My G-gramma gave me a toy too.I was sooooo excited that I got a toy,I slept with it on the way back to Ohio.Next week I'll be 1 year old too.My mom is soo happy for me.She says I've made her life so complete.

Great Gramma's House we Go

Here I come great-Mamaw.Watch out cuz now,you'll see why mom really puts me in daycare.I will drive you crazy and expect you to PAY attention to me and only me.Mom and Gramma will be driving in the middle of the night to get me to Great-Gramma's but they'll get me there.I'm gonna show her my ball,my dog, my new tricks I learned in school and hopefully leave a few gifts in her yard too.
I also graduated last night from Basic Obedience training.I'm sooooo proud of myself.I've done such a GREAT job.

Swimming

Today was kind of a hot day so Mom took me to this ravine down the street from our house to see if maybe I can get out of the house to cool off and maybe enjoy my Mom for a while.I had soo much fun!!! I played and played in the water.I frolicked.It was a BLAST!!!!! I did get scared a little though cuz I went after my new found toy in deep water and didn't know it was deep but otherwise what fun.I LOVE the water!!!!!! I think I can even swim a little too.I think next summer my Mom said she's going to find somewhere else to go and let me play and play some more in the water.I told her she needed to get me a life vest before summer is over for next year.
