Arrival Story:
My heart was recently broken after getting a free puppy from an ad in the paper, we had to euthanize her as she was dying of Parvo and was too far gone. We had only had that puppy for 14 hours. I was so sad, that I went to the Humane Society to look at all the sweet animals there to lift my spirits and I felt my "biological clock" was ticking. I really wanted to have a puppy in the house. My husband picked up this tiny 8 week old wrinkly puppy and I was hooked. She looked more Shar-Pei when we adopted her but now as she gets older, she looks a bit more Sheltie. She is the sweetest little baby!

Bio:
Sara likes to lick the back of my knees for some reason, it feels so cute. When I have a long skirt on, she will burrow her way underneath it and sit down behind me to lick the back of my knees. She thinks she is the Alpha of the house even though she is only 26 pounds so far and her "siblings" are 80 and 65 pounds. She is very protective of her bone and of her Mommy. She is very fluffy and loves to kiss. She is certainly a wonderful addition to our home, making her the 3rd dog and we also have 2 cats.
