Being the #1 dog, in our family. We use a seniority system, to make it fair for all of our dogs... Butkus loves the perks of his position

Pet-Peeves:
dogs that let their people run loose and anything that we plant or place in "his" backyard. That includes rose bushes, vegetables and most recently fabric cover protecting grass seed on a hill

His daddy, B.J.

Favorite Food:
Blue Buffalo dry and eating crushed ice, from our ice maker

Favorite Walk:
subdivion and down to our lake

Best Tricks:
sleeping sounder then any dog that we have owned

Arrival Story:
B.J. and Baby had a litter, which we were going to pass on a pup because we had an older female, Rocco. While on a cruise, with Rocco being boarded, she had a heart atttack and died. B.J. was crushed, so we got one of his pups . Butkus was born on St. Patrick's day, so he has to be Irish.

Bio:
Butkus is now the leader, of our family of dogs. He was super supportive, of his Dad, B.J. when he fought cancer. Now, he is enjoying Buddy and Amos in the tradtion of chasing squirrels, chipmunks and splashing geese.

It's my Birthday

Well, today I turned 7 yrs old,,,,,yikes!!!
Our Dad sang Happy Birthday to me, first thing this morning, while we all were still in bed....
We all got extra treats in both our food dish and again when Our Dad went to work.....
It stopped raining finally, so was able to grab some sun, while laying out in our dog run.

Our Dad picked up Buddy today, he is a five month old miniature Schnauzer, My Daddy B.J. knew I needed a playmate, since he is gone,,,so, he chose Buddy,
He made a great pick....
I miss the heck out of my Daddy, but, Buddy is making me run too much to be sad, like I was...

Another squirrel bites the dust

Well, everyone thinks my Dad B.J. is the ultimate hunter, in our family. The other day, I caught my second squirrel, of the year.
It sure helps having Dad show me what to do and cheering me on.
Oops, there goes another one running accross our backyard
