Arrival Story:
Jake was in a shelter I volunteered at when I was very young. His name, at the time, was Cooner. He was very shy, and very very pathetic looking. He had been severely abused, and starved before he was dropped at the shelter. I introduced him to my parents, and my mom fell in love. I had always loved him. In the beginning, he was very hand shy and timid, not liking any loud noises or fast movements. Over the years, he turned into the best dog ever, though. He had such confidence in himself, and he loved everyone, despite his rough start.

Bio:
We adopted Jake into our lives when he was at the young age of 2 years. We had him for a very short seeming, but very happy, 12 years. He was my best friend, and my brother. He was the main turning point in my life that turned me so passionately towards dogs, and he inspired me in what I do today. I just want to say, Thank you Jake. I will always remember you, and I can't wait to see you again.
