Summertime Review...

Well another summer has come & gone...I enjoyed the warm days lazing on the deck and exploring the garden...especially when the tomatoes finally ripened...I even shared a few with Rosie since I had several hundred on the vine...you can see pictures of us searching for just the right ones...I was a tad finicky, preferring to pull mine straight off the vine, Rosie however was happy to eat the fallen , squishy ones..YUCK!

We kept our eyes on the 'wrenters' in the garden condo & had fun darting over to watch the babies jump back into the 'house'....mom seemed less than amused at this activity & called us away on several occasions...we soon found other amusements though as the 'chippy' was always about & would go so far as to try & get us to play fetch by throwing seeds & nuts down on us as we lounged under the shady pine tree.

One morning we awoke & were all set to scamper out for the day's adventures when mom stopped us with her big foot...yelling "Oh NO !".."What? Let us see ", we said but mom closed the door on us....when she came back a few minutes later she was saying' that was close. Thats the biggest skunk I've ever seen !"...." WHERE?" Let us see....but no....mom opened the outside gate & made us wait till the skunk had left the yard....no FUN at all !

Now the leaves have all dropped & we 'helped' with the raking...rearranging all the terrible neat piles mom made....who'd want that....so we raced through them & made a beautiful flutter and sorted them all back out onto the yard....mom wasn't impressed with our 'help' and after awhile gave up....LOL.

We're getting ready for something called SNOW....I don't remember it as I was a pup last year & Rosie wasn't even born yet. Mom spent the day knitting & felting warm sweaters for each of us....and looking at bootie patterns online....she thinks she'll just buy me a pair in blue & saw fuzzy pink ones for Rosie....I can't imagine why we'll need them or the sweaters....Can you?
