Arrival Story:
My husband and I were in search of an Australian Shepherd, specifically a Black-Tri, female. We have great friends who have a blue merle and we admired how smart and what great companion dogs they are. Our friends gave us the contact number of the breeder where they got their Aussie from since they come from champion blood lines. We were waiting until Spring 2005 to get a puppy so we wanted to contact the breeder to let them know we were interested. Well what do you know they had the Aussie we wanted in a current litter. We didn't anticipate getting one when we made contact, but I guess it was meant to be! So my husband and I arranged to meet her out in Holllister, CA and of course we couldn't resist her adorable face and we fell in love brought her home. We were well prepared "just in case" prior to meeting her and had all the things she needed on her first day home.
