Arrival Story:
My [biological] mom's owner is a good friend of my Mum and when we were born, she wanted us to be put in good homes. Mum and her friend agreed that I will go live with Mum and her human daughter Nika. I knew I made the right choice because I felt instantly at home... My human family did not whimper nor cry the whole 1st night that I got home. I was quiet (and a bit playful too myself.) And so here I am... from "Fatso" they changed my monicker to "Bluey" in honor of the singer from Mum and Dad's favorite acid jazz group Incognito. All the while I thought I was named such because of "Blue's Clues" (that's what Nika thinks too...) Well to each his own. I like my name, that's what matters. And you know what, I like my family even better.

Forums Motto:

Sick again...

Mum left me at home -- they went to Denise's sweet 16 party -- lo and behold when they got home, I was sick to my stomach! I don't know what I ate or drank... could be dirty water. I was nauseaous and my poop is ...not poop at all...it was water (and it stinks!) So I went to the doctor again -- but a new vet this time. Mum says Animal House is a good vet/animal place but its way too expensive for us. So we tried a friend's referral, Dr. Coching in Lopez, Sucat Paranaque (those of you who are from Paranaque, the place is in front of Liana's Sucat). The guy was very nice and accommodating. He patiently answered all of Mum's questions and was very 'malambing' with me... I think I like this dude, if only he didn't give me 3 shots today. Accdg to the dude I have ameobiasis. What the... oh well he gave me medicines again... but he was really nice about it and gave Mum a lot of options to choose from. (And the best part is Mum only paid about half of what she would normally pay in Animal House) ...nothing against A.H. ok, but if Mum is satisfied with Dr. C, well so am I. His clinic is a bit sparse compared to the look of A.H. but hey so what, I am on my way to recovery and Mum is happy. Cool.

Another day at the Vet

No escaping the needle this time... 5-in-1 plus Kennel Cough and Deworming tablets too! Arrgghhh! And, oh boy, was Mum ever so shocked when the bill came. I didn't ask for this but hey, thanks Mum...I know you're just watching out for me. Anyhows... we tried to get inside the mall after my trip to the Vet but the guard in Festival mall wouldn't let me in. Tsk tsk tsk, too bad for me and Yaya Georgie. We stayed outside while Mum fetched Nika from her gym class. Then we passed by my Dad's house (but I haven't met my Dad yet...he is in the USA but hopefully I get to see him soon!) ...there I met some of my other cousins -- Noe, Sophia and Cheska... but it seems they are afraid of me. I gave them my best smile but they kept backing off everytime I come near them. Hmmm, I wonder why?!? I had a bath yesterday. Hmmm... maybe they're not used to doggy-cousins yet.

...but don't think it was a great thing! Mum brought me to the vet to get my booster shot. But when the vet asked if everything was ok with me, she had to go ranting about my "extra soft poop". So the vet said, "Ok better not give him his shots first...BUT since there are 'aliens' in his poop, he has to take these medicines." AWWWWWWWWW! But I think I will settle for that for now...
