Lucy refuses to walk, she shames me by laying down in the neighbor's yard and taking a nap, ugh!

She makes sure we heard the doorbell, she can catch a miniature tennis ball, and um, did anyone else hear that doorbell???????
Arrival Story:
Lucy came to us when she was 1 1/2, after having been in 2 other households. She wasn't housetrained and didn't seem to have ever been groomed. After a rough week or so, she had stolen our hearts. She is truly an angel. She was very easy to train, I have no idea why she wasn't earlier. Even though this is her 3rd home, it is definately her forever home, we love our sweet little girl!
Bio:
We had a rough first week with Lucy. She escaped from the house and had a tour of the neighborhood, threw up all over the new car, did something MUCH worse in the new car, and licked wet paint among other things. I called the vet so many times, I was afraid we were going to get reported for doggy abuse! I have to admit, I was tempted to pass her along to her next unsuspecting victim, but she had already been in 2 homes that didn't work out and I couldn't do that to her again. I started trying to work with her, especially with housetraining and then basic commands like sit. I don't think anyone ever tried to train her. Once I discovered her love of lime Tic Tacs, we became fast friends and she would do anything for one. Now she goes pretty much everywhere with me and is genuinely insulted when I leave her at home. She has fans all over town who keep doggie treats for her when she comes by for a visit. She has really stolen my heart and I don't know what I would do without her.
