Arrival Story:
I was 4 years old when we decided to get a dog. Sparky came to us as a puppy about 5 months old from a breeder in NC who wanted to keep him as a show dog. However, his bottom teeth were too crooked and his coloring wasn't perfect so the breeder sold him to us, but he was perfect in our eyes! I remember going to pick up the small hyper sparky. He was just adorable. He lived with us for 13 wonderful years after that! We were lucky to have such a sweet and loving dog!
Bio:
Sparky was 13 years old. He was allergic to almost every plant and tree in the state of NC. He died October 28, 2005 from liver failure. He had been suffering from a severly enlarged liver full of tumors. Those tumors, probably cancerous, spread all over his body and there was nothing we could have done. Nothing could bring his spirits down! He slept more but that was pretty much the only change. He was a GREAT companion for 13 years and we will always love him and miss him deeply!!!! We will meet again at the Rainbow Bridge my sweet Doodle bug!

Just wanted to say that theres not a day or time i dont think about you and miss you Sparky! I still cry sometimes because you are gone. But then I have to remind myself youre in a better place and are lookin down on me from the sky with your big brown eyes and smiling face. Theres a void in my heart but it will heal. I keep the only professional photo of u next to my bed and every time i see it, it helps remind me how you were before your illness and when you were happy. I hope your happy now and always know that I love you Sparky!! Your best friend, Patricia

Today we spread Sparky's ashes across his backyard. Now he will forever guard our house from those squirrels and chipmunks he loved to chase. I cry as I write this because losing him was like losing part of myself. He was with me for 13 out of my 17 years and I will always be grateful for the love and joy he brought to each one of those years. I hope he knows that and I hope he did not have to suffer too long before we finally let him go. It was hard saying goodbye to my best friend in the entire world but now i know he is in a place where there is no cancer or allergies or pain. I love you and miss you Doodle Bug and will ALWAYS!!!! Chase those squirrels up at the Rainbow Bridge for me and I look forward to seeing you there one day! I love you!!!

I regret to inform you that Sparky died this morning, October 28th at 10:30. His body could no longer fight the liver failure. We sent him to a better place where he can no longer hurt and can run freely chasing chipmunks! We had 13 WONDERFUL years with our Sparky Doodle and he will be FOREVER missed deeply!
I love you Sparky and I will alllllwwayyys miss you!! Goodbye.. I can't wait to see you at the Rainbow Bridge! Keep Granddaddy company!
