My day at the vet

I went to the vet last week, not knowing where I was going when we left the house, or why I was going someplace. I was really good, my mom left early in the morning and I was so good in the car. I just relaxed and slept all the way. She dropped me off at the vet very early that morning and I had an operation. My parents don't want to add to the over population of puppies, so I was "fixed" so I wouldn't have any puppies. When I woke up I was groggy and I had a few tiny stitches on my tummy. I rested on the way home. When I got home I saw my brother, Clyde and my grandma Heidi. Clyde and I have never been separated before, he was very excited to see me. I was glad to see him too, but I was a little tired.

My mom and dad fed all of us, and I was pretty hungry. I rested the remaining part of the night and felt great the next day!

Two days later my brother, Clyde went to the vet. He went to have surgery also.

Both of us feel really good now, and before long we'll get our tiny stitches taken out. I don't like being left at the vet all day long because I miss my family, but I know my human parents think it's important to spay and neuter - so I understand.

I know I'm sure glad to be home again!
