Arrival Story:
Ray came to me through BRAT (Basenji Rescue & Transport) after being passed around from several homes in his first 18 months. I was signed up on the website for about 6 months without seeing a dog that could join me here in South Beach. When I saw Ray (then known as "Benji") I was thrilled. Fortunatly, he was being fostered in Pensacola where my mother lives. So, I asked her to check him out. She reported back to me that he was just perfect and he most certainly is. He then made the trip down here through the helpful people in BRAT and he's been making sure that no sun-beam goes neglected here in SOBE ever since.
Bio:
Ray is a tri-colored basenji, a little on the short side for a male basenji but he truely makes up for it in attitude. He still shows his younger brother who's boss even though Sal's got a couple pounds on him. He's one little ball of muscle 'cause he runs a marathon every day. We could all hope for the .0001% body fat on his sleak physique. Ray is also in business with his brother as demolition experts, specializing in document removal & disposal.
