for the animal friends we love.
They are not human,

I am happy to report that M picked up my urn & ashes today ~ she added one of her favorite ph0to's of me & presto I'm back at home with my family. It is so good to feel my family's love again & to know M has so many loving friends to help her through this difficult time.

A~Long~Long~Wonderful~Life......

Hi Everyone (Kobears M here) ~ It is with a heavy heart that I share this diary entry with you ~

My beloved Dakota (aka KoBear) ~ furever my best friend & now my sweet angel ~ crossed the rainbow bridge late this afternoon.....his love & devotion for me is forever eched in my heart~!

A very special moment for me was last night when Dakota & Triton said their g-byes ~ with warm snuggles & wet nose kiss's ~ they shared so many wonderful moments & their love for one another.....words just cannot express....& yes for once Kona did not interfer as the two said their final g'bye's~!

A special heartfelt TU to Dr. Kelly DVM for helping us through this very difficult time & for her quick response time & thoughtfulness ~ We will never forget U.....

KoBear's eyes told me it was time.....My sweet angel knows how deeply he was loved ~!

I miss you more than words can say~~~~~

Beautiful End~ to a wonderful life

I can see the bridge it's just steps away ~ as my time here on earth comes to end ~ I'm snuggled up with my M ~ she knows it's my time & struggles to find the right moment to tell me. My mind is still sharp yet my body is wearing down ~ I stuggle to walk & refuse to eat......my wonderful life with M & my little bro's is near the end~!

SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA GOLDEN RETRIEVE RESCUE is having an Adoption Event in Simi Valley on Saturday, June 21 from noon to 4pm. Many of the available dogs will be there to meet. Check out the Available Dogs page on our website (scgrrescue.org) and let me know who you are interested in. We'll try to make sure that dog is there for you to meet-- and get a "sloppy kiss" from! And maybe, if you connect, you can go home with a new family member!

Our Adoptive Families are welcome too! It is so much fun for us Volunteers to see the former Rescue's Happy Families! Come visit us! Many volunteers will be helping that day!

The Newbie.....

The newbie puppy has arrived & I'm not happy about it......His goal in life is to annoy me ~

So far I have been in big trouble for snippin at the newbie....Like it is my fault he ignores my growling. I didn't ask for the thing to come into my home, yet he strolls around like he owns the place!

At times I kind of want to play with newbie pup yet once I stand up he lays down.......he is stupid! Doesn't know how to play & is an all around pain!

While I am resting he likes to chew on my toes. The nerve of this pup ~ who does he think he is.....my toes are mine, all mine & I don't care to have him chewin' on them.

This newbie has no manners either, he thinks my food & water dish are to be shared......I think NOT ~ even my water droolin' on his head won't keep him outta my face. Newbie finds fun in everything~ he is so dawg dumb!

My only happiness is when the newbie gets in trouble for going potty on the floor!!!!!! HA HA.....He's not so perfect after all......
