My Last Trip to the Vet's

Today I turned exactly 17 years & 4 months old.
Today I had to go to the vet (my least favourite place).
Today I had my last breath of fresh air.
Today I went to Doggie Heaven.

I miss my family, but I'm having fun and making new friends. I'm not in any more pain now, and I'm looking down on my family with a wagging tail.

BBQ!!!

Today seemed like a regular day... sleep, eat, walk around, sleep, sleep, walk around, go out to pee, walk around, sleep, eat, etc. And then, I saw people I didn't know! There were 4 of them, and they talked a bit. I got to go outside, and then more people arrived! There were 3 more, and one of them kept petting me! YAY! Then 2 more came! I was so excited, but scared at the same time. Then, I smelled human food cooking on the BBQ! Oh, please drop a piece on the ground so I can have it! But then Daddy said that I shouldn't be near the BBQ because it was hot. Awwww. But I still had fun! And there was a lady who always picked me up and walked around with me... that was fun! Everybody had a good time! But, one person stayed until 3:30 AM!!!! I was sleeping, and the sound of the door woke me up. But I never did get something off the BBQ!

Guess what!?!? Today, it was a pretty normal day, and I was sniffing around the table where my owners eat. All of a sudden, Mommy picks me up and sits me down on her lap. I'm thinking "Mmmmmm.... I smell something gooooood. I wonder what it is!". And then I saw it. The greatest food of all. It was GRAVY! And it was on Mommy's plate! Oh yeah, gravy is the best, especially when it's on a plate. Then Mommy let me lick her plate!!!!! Oh, YUM YUM YUM! But I only got a little. But still, I hardly ever get gravy! Mmmmmm.... I love human food!
