Leave a bone for Hinckley (in Loving Memory)

Nicknames: "Hinckers", "Hincky," "Hincker Dinker Stinker Dog"

Quick Bio:
 Birthday: December 3rd 1993
Likes: Following me around the house. He slept next to my side of the bed. He keeps me company when I get ready for work at 4:30 a.m. And I rarely go to the bathroom without a four-legged audience.

Pet-Peeves: Not getting dinner exactly at 5 p.m., cats and when Sonic got more attention

Favorite Toy: Hinckleywas not much of a toy dog. He was all about the lovin'.

Favorite Food: Cheese

Favorite Walk: Anywhere.

Best Tricks: He gave a great high five!

Arrival Story: We had been looking for an Aussie through a rescue organization, but hadn't had any luck finding the right dog for us. One day our rep called and said there was a dog available in a nearby town. We went over and had a look. At first glance, I didn't think Hinckley (then called "Two Socks") was much to look at. Despite my misgivings, we took him home with us that day... and by the next, I was head over heels with him because he was so affectionate, sweet and gentle.

Bio: Hinckley was named for Hinckley Yacht Co. in Southwest Harbor, Maine, where my husband did an internship during college. My husband's opinion is that they are the most beautiful sailboats ever made. The name ended up suiting Hinckley because he became the most beautiful dog in my eyes. Hinckley is no longer with us. He died on June 27, 1007.
