Arrival Story:
My boyfriend's parents rescue Shar-Pei in DC, and a pregnant rescue dog came into their lives. They got the pick of the litter (2 actually) and flew them out to us.

Bio:
What a wonderful life my boy had, and what an amazing gift he gave to us. He was one of those special dogs, the kind who seems like more than a dog. I can't quite imagine him not being here, greeting me at the door so excited his whole body just bent in half - back and forth, back and forth. He was the cuddliest, kindest, most gentle souled dog I've ever encountered, and his life ended too soon. Kidney failure is unfortunately common in Shar Pei, and my boy was unlucky enough to come down with it. He had already made two miraculous recoveries in his life, and there wasn't to be a third. I miss him so much.
