Arrival Story:
Chuey found me. My X and I were walking to the casino that I worked at in Oroville, California. And this little itty bitty puppy bounces up. We pet him and looked around for his owner. We could not find one. He was so small that he would fall over when he walked off the curbs. He followed my X all throught the reservation looking for his owner. At that time we didn't really look at him closely. It was 106 degrees out and we took him home. We quickly realized that he was hurt. He had a broken rib, and his eye was very messed up. He would have nightmares constantly for about a month. He would wake up and just cry for 15 minutes straight while I held him in my arms. It just tore my heart out. I continued to look for his true owner just so I could find this evil person. But months went by and slowly the search ended. Chuey is my best friend. Anyways, we found out that due to the abuse Chuey is half blind in one eye. He now has cattaracks in that one eye due to the abuse. He does tend to run into things, including people. But we love him and just laugh. The breeder found me when he was 5 months old. He took Chuey from my house when I was at work. I was so upset I thought I would die. Luckily, it was a small town so I found the number of the breeder. I called him and cried and begged for Chuey back. I told him that I had brought him back to health, gave him a great home with love, and paid for his shots, being neutered and all that. The breeder did not realize that Chuey was neutered. He gave him back to me. The Breeder told me that Chuey is a blue nose pit bull and a purple ribbon champ. That his Dad is from Sacramento and he gave me a picture of Chuey's Grandma and Grandpa. That the guy that bought Chuey off him went to prison. He definately was a bad man. Chuey is my little boy. He is 70 pounds of tongue. Everyone that meets him changes their mind about pit bulls. I love to share this story!

Bio:
Chuey does have many allergy problems. But he is extremely happy and now lives in Seattle, WA. He is spoiled rotten. I have never met anyone that does not end up falling in love with him. Everyone in my family were against owning pit bulls until they met him. He is such a sweetie. I do not know what I would do without him.

The exciting life of Chuey

My parents went on vacation without me

I thought they were just leaving for work. But boy was I missing the whole picture! They left bright and early. And when it was time for them to come home, a pretty blonde named Kristine came in the house, acting like she owns the place. Being a sucker for blondes, I forgot all about my parents. She pet me all the time and gave me lots of loving. I had a pretty good time. Did not even realize that my parents were gone.....until they came home. Then it hit me.....I missed them....and I am glad they are home! :)

Physical Therapy

I went to my mothers physical therapy today. It was quite exciting. It started off a bit bad though. On our walk towards the building I went from bush to bush sniffing all the new smells. When I realized that I had to go number 2...it was too late..no more bushes. What do I do. So I went in the middle of the side walk. Mother was a bit unhappy with that. Said I was embarassing. She cleaned it up though...like the good Mom she is. We went into a building full of new smells! Mom pushed a button and these doors opened. I wouldn't stop pulling on the leash I was so excited. But suddenly the floor moved. And I was a bit scared. But as soon as I was afraid..the doors opened and I was out of that strange room. Then we went into an office. A woman was speaking to Mom and leading us to another room. But Mom wouldn't let me go near her. I pulled and pulled. But Mom got the best of me. Said something about ruining the ladies pants if I went near her. Am not sure what that was about. In the room, a man came in that I wanted to cover with licks...and was quite successful at it until Mom made me lay down. I was relaxed but he started to hurt Mom. So I sat up and just watched to make sure Mom didn't need my help. She didn't so all was well. Shortly after we left. I got to ride with my head out the window of the 4-Runner. I love that! And home we were! It was a fun trip!
