Yippee!

I'm a very happy dog today
In that exuberant, leaping, Great Dane way
Dogster's picked my diary
And posted it for all to see
Thank you Dogster, you're so cool
For recognizing this rhyming fool!

Doggone Luck

I was happily romping in the back yard
Chasing bugs and playing hard
When all of a sudden I started to wail
I'd cut my leg open on a nail!
Mommy One and Mommy Two
Were terribly worried about what to do
So off we went to see the doc
Whose decision gave me quite a shock!
They were going to sew and stitch me up--
Oh, of all the doggone luck!
I'm better now, I'm thrilled to say
And getting better every day
My leg has healed and I'm so glad
To have the best moms a dog's ever had.

They love me too
Despite all the terrible
Things I do
I break their things
And eat their books
But the worst I get
Is dirty looks
