Some house rules

Mama and I had a discussion this morning. Her handbag was sitting open on the floor, and I dropped in a tiny pillow that I had been playing with. Mama, who is better trained and cleverer than most humans, correctly assumed that by my putting something into her handbag, it also meant that I could take out anything I wanted, at will. She objected to this, and asked me why I couldn't apply this to putting my toys back into their toybaskets. She even went so far as to show me the behind-the-scenes video of the trained squirrels on Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and said that if a rodent with a brain the size of a lima bean could lean to do things, so could I.
