Greenies, walks, patroling the back yard from squirrels and cats, sleeping in under the covers, cuddling, swimming after sticks, playing chase with other dogs, sniffing eyeballs, perching on the top of his couch, swimming, visiting the vet.
Pet-Peeves:
Squirrels and cats anywhere near his yard, mom not letting him chase squirrels or cats on his walks, his brother Gus biting his ankles, any sad thing (he is sensitive), Baths! and the worst thing in the world - SUITCASES!
Favorite Toy:
Sticks, anything fleece, sticks, little tennis balls, and sticks - preferably twice the size of him.
Favorite Food:
Anything mom is eating and greenies heated in the microwave.
Favorite Walk:
Near the house where he has spotted a rabbit or anywhere off leash which cannot happen anymore!
Best Tricks:
Roll over, shake, high-five and slipping out of his collar on walks.
Arrival Story:
Rocky was the calmest pup in the litter and needed to be taken to a good home before his sisters ate him.
Bio:
Rocky is a true survivor - he came down with meningitis when he was 8 months old and with the help of the wonderful vet Dr. Laura, was successfully treated and recovered to be the zen like guy that he is now. Since then he loves going to the vet and we think it is because he associates it with feeling better.
He was slightly perturbed when his brother Gus joined the family, but after re-hiding all of his bones they are best friends.

Dear Rocky,
Yesterday you did something that I will never in my life, ever forget and make me always look at you in laughter and awe. I took you and Bad Gus to Bear Creek for a nice long walk along the pretty spring creek in the beautiful sun. You and Gussie splashed around a bit in the creek, I'm sure that it felt good to be cooled by the water. To try to get you to swim (which you love to do and will out-swim any lab, any day), I was throwing pebbles/rocks into the water. The splash makes you and Gus excited and want to see what is going on. This happened a couple of times, alternating between sticks of course. About the third time I saw you duck your head underwater and then sprint out of the creek.
You, my sweet little child, had retrieved the rock for me.
