Arrival Story:
I saw an ad for GSP puppies and after deciding we wanted Jake (also on here, rescued from the Ingham County Animal Shelter) we decided we wanted a female puppy. When I went to look at them, she had lots of siblings running around and loving life in the barn but she came right to me and I knew that she was the one. Our lives have never been the same. She started out as a very calm, almost comatose puppy on the first day-- I thought, uh oh we have a dud here. The joke was on me, she was just very nervous in her new environment. She has been nothing but a bundle of joy, muscle and potentially destructive force (including eating the dashboard of our car!) running, jumping and playing and enjoying life, birds and terrorizing (in a playful way) our cat. We wouldn't trade her for anything. She and Jake are inseparable.

Imke is the dog on top. She loves her Jake!
