We tried to tell this story when it happened, but it was ignored and we still get messages about Boots. We kept our account open since we love animals, especially dogs. We hope that all will take note that Boots has been "gone" since March of 2008.
The Time Ran Out.
On March 27, 2008, came the saddest day of all. Boots has had Lupus for years and it finally caught her and left her unable to go on as our friend, companion and marvelous pet. This was the last day of her life, but not her memory. We have said goodbye and we let her go, but not willingly. Sadie will miss her, too. Sadie is with our son who gave us Boots in the first place.
