Arrival Story:
We adopted Casey in 1995 at our local Human Society. She was from a litter of pups that the breeder couldn't sell. I was four years old at the time, and when I saw her, I KNEW she was my doggie! The lady at the front desk of the pound said we should name her Snuggles, since our other dog at the time was named Cuddles. I said that I wanted Casey, so, of course, she was named Casey.

Bio:
Casey's always been my companion. We grew up together. She used to be really social with people until our neighbor started whacking her with sticks and spraying her with fertilizer over the fence. I remember that he once sprayed both Casey and me with fertilizer when we were only playing in the back yard. I don't blame the guy though, since he was pretty old and wasn't all there, so to speak. Ever since then Casey's been scared of all people except my mom and I, however.
