When mom and dad come home, chasing around the house, walks, sleeping under the covers, any toy that talks!

strangers that try to pet his head, baths, nail clipping, the vaccuum, thunder/loud rain, being left alone while mom and dad go out

Best Tricks:
Double high-fives, standing straight up to get a treat, dropping to the floor upon hearing the Bang! command

Arrival Story:
Literally the day that we moved into our first house, we went to the "Meet Your Best Friend at the Zoo" event at the Detroit Zoo looking for the dog that we would fall in love with. Amongst all of the chaos and hundreds of dogs barking, there was Kevin--laying in his cage--quiet and relaxed--and chewing on his rawhide, just mellow as could be. We loved him as soon as we saw him, and took him home that day.

Bio:
At approximately 1 year old, we were the 4th home that Kevin had lived in. He had come from the local animal control with little background information. He was petrified of men, and had severe seperation anxiety that required a dog behaviorist and anti-anxiety medication (which he is now off of). It has been a tough road, but never once did we consider taking him back to animal control--and he is now an amazing dog!

Mommy is sick......yay for me!

So today is a great day. My mommy is sick with something she calls "a killer cold." She is hot, and then cold, and then hot. And she's wheezy. And sneezy. And she coughs a lot. And feels like poo. You may be wondering why mommy's sickness is a great thing. I feel bad for mommy, don't get me wrong, but I'm so happy that she is home with me today!! Usually she goes back to work on Monday, but not today! Today she stayed in bed with me. I'm so happy that mommy is home that I think I'll stay close by her side today. It's the least I can do to show her how thankful I am that she is home today.

Can dogs catch human "killer colds"?? I hope not.....

Well, doggies, it's been a long time since I've had a diary entry. Sorry about that! I just wanted to let everyone know that my mommy and daddy brought home a new sister for me this week! She doesn't look like me, though. Mommy and Daddy say that she's something called "Cat" and they named her Allie. She doesn't really want to play with me yet....I don't know why, cuz I'm a fun boy! We do both sleep in Mommy's bed, though. Her food is also yummy, but Mommy and Daddy keep telling me to stop eating it! I am so happy to have a new sister.

I put some pictures up of me and Allie. She has a Catster page now, so if you have any kitties, please add Allie as a friend!

New Toy!!

Last week, my mom decided to be mean and go away for 4 days to New York for work! I was determined to let her know how mad I was at her when she got back....I mean, come on! How could she leave me? I'm so cute!

Anyway, I was all ready to be mad when she got home. She got back very late at night, and I stayed up waiting for her 'cause I wanted to tell her exactly how NOT happy I was that she didn't take me with her. So she walked in the door, and just as I was getting ready to give her a piece of my mind, she pulled something out of her bag and handed it to me....and all of a sudden I wasn't so mad.

Mommy got me a stuffed yellow duck that looks like a rubber duckie....and it has a crown on its head and a torch in it's hand just like the Statue of Liberty! When I bite it, it makes quacking noises! I wasn't so mad anymore 'cause she DID think of me when she was gone! She got me an official New York quacking duckie! I feel so special. Maybe I won't be so mad the next time she goes away for a few days (although I would be even happier if she took me with her next time!)
