Sleeping and licking his... you know.
Vacuum cleaners. And he is afraid of long grass.
An old sock stuffed with old socks. Can't get much better than that!
Whatever we humans are eating at any given time.
The beach. Anywhere he can be off leash.
Being the sweetest friend on earth
Clyde was acquired for me by a date at a flea market in Tucson, Arizona. I had been looking for something unique in a dog and I got him! The minute we saw each other, we both knew we had found The One. He rode back to my place zipped into my jacket on the back of a motorcycle.
Clyde has lived in 13 different homes in the 16 years he has been with me, he has gone from Arizona to California, weathered the birth and growth of my son, he has stayed by my side through two boyfriends, two husbands, and two divorces. He is my funny looking sidekick and a much better and plainly more loyal companion than any of the men who have kicked him out of my bed through the years. He may look like a cross between a wet rat and a pot bellied pig, and he may smell like fish, but he is the sweetest person I know.
I'm going to miss him for the rest of my life. RIP old friend.
Clyde passed away in May 2005, but his memory lives on, here and in our hearts.
