Arrival Story: Reign was meant to be. I was looking to get a third dog, two of my friends called me the same day to tell me about these nine pups at the Kings County SPCA. I had played phone tag with the guy for awhile, by the time he got me there was one male pup left. I was hoping for a female, so he gave me only one hour to decide, before he called the other six people on his list. We went to get him the next day and as soon as I saw him it was love at first sight, his picture didnt do him justice! He was cute cute cute! Reigns mom Roxy is a white and brindle valleybull. When animal control picked her up she was pregnant. We met her, she is a sweet girl who also found a good home.
Bio: Sometimes I think Reign is too good to be true. He thinks everybody should love him. He is such a little cuddlebug!
He does this weird grinding his teeth thing when he is trying to get comfortable and the sweetest sighs!
January 2006 he ate a toothbrush, then in February he was diagnosed with inflammatory bowel disease. Right now he doesnt take medication unless he has a flare up. Most times I can fix him up with bowel pills and some canned gastro food. He has to take steriods from time to time though.
Forums Motto: Reign
My Birthday: February 24, 2005
My Favorite Naughty Deed: Eating my toothbrush because it smelled like poultry toothpaste!
I have not written in awhile, a lot has happened. My biggest sister Ruby passed away on May 1st. She had like a stroke to her spinal cord instead of the brain. She went to bed fine, woke up with a limp on her front leg and within hours couldnt walk on either front foot. It was very fast and unfair! Mom had to make the best choice for Ruby as much as she hated herself for doing it.
Rube was cremated and sitting in the front window, her urn is almost as pretty as she was.
Everyone asks how Remi and I are doing, Mom doesnt notice a whole lot of difference. Mom on the other hand misses her terribly everyday.
I am back on steriods again because of my bowels. Mom hates that much more than I do. Just call me Roid Boy! :)
Today is my third birthday and I had a pawsome one! Mom got me a cake from the Three Dog Bakery that just opened here. So this morning I got to sleep in and then have cake! I sat at the kitchen table with my pawty hat on and everyone sang to me. I licked the icing off of my cake first then started biting pieces off. Then Mom cut two pieces off for Ruby and Remi who watched pretty patiently.
I went for a drive the the coffee shop and the drive thru girl wished me happy birthday, then gave me a timbit! Yum!
My day was a lot of fun and I might even be going for a walk soon! Weeeee! :)
I got new wheels this week! Mom got a new car, well new to her! I will be cruising around in a 2004 Grand Am, instead of a 1999.
She even got roll down windows so I wouldnt jam my head in them anymore! I almost cut my head off in a drive-thru once! So Mom had to always keep the windows locked, everyone used to get annoyed because they didnt have control of their windows.
It is nice and I will look extra handsome hanging out of the window! I think my hair will stick extra well to the dark seats and I cant wait to snotify the windows! :)
