Its Daddy's!

Snuggles was very possessive of Daddy & Daddys things. Once the tv guide was laying on the foot of the bed & I went to pick it up. Daddy was at the top left of the bed & the tv guide was on the bottom right corner. Snuggles was beside Daddy's pillow. Before I could pick it up, he nailed me! Out of reflex, I jerked my hand & for my trouble, I got a nasty gash. I probably couldve used stitches.
Another time, I was sewing my husbands halloween costume while he was wearing it. Without a sound, I suddenly felt Snuggles on my foot. I had learned to just stay still. My husband calmly took him off of my foot.
It hurt at the time, but I knew he was just protecting his Daddy. The scars just bring bittersweet memories. One more reason Ill never forget him.
Although he was sometimes mean to me, we also had alot of fun times together.

Catching Flies

When Snuggles was a puppy, he loved to sit on the porch with the family & catch flies. He was very quick & usually got it! Such a talented boy! Woof Woof!

Sneezy

The closest thing to a trick Snugs ever did, was this. When his daddy would 'sneeze' Snugs would 'sneeze' right back at him. He'd do it as many times as his daddy did! LOL

Cujo

When Snugs was about 1, he started getting a little aggressive. It was cute at first~ growling at me when I would get in bed. Then , he would let me put on his sweater to go for our walk, but wouldnt let me take it off.
Later, as time went on, he got to where he'd bite me. He was just being protective of his Daddy & his daddys things. I just learned to work around him. We worked it out eventually because I loved him so much. Id call him Cujo when Id get upset.
I actually have 2 scars from his bites, but now that he's gone, they are bittersweet reminders. I'll always miss him.

Dumbo

Snuggles & I spent many an hour alone together. When he was younger , he was as sweet as he looked. We'd take walks, play & watch tv together. On evening Dumbo was on tv. I swear, he watched it with me! During commercials he'd go & get a drink etc. But when it came back on, he was right there beside me looking at the tv. When it was off, he went his own way. It was so cute!

Kitty love

When Snuggles was a puppy, there was a black kitten that used to come & play with him. He loved to wrestle with it. After it grew up, it quit coming to visit & he never seemed to like felines after that. Once burned... LOL

Doggy Heaven

I'll come back later and add some happy stories. But I wanted to post that Snuggles went to doggy Heaven this morning. It was at the vet & it was very peaceful. He was just a few weeks shy of being 18 people years old. He is very much missed.
