Arrival Story:
Buck was due to be pts in less than an hour at the local animal shelter. He had already been given 3 extra weeks, because the staff loved him so much. Even though he wasn't what I was looking for I couldn't bear the thought of the sparkle in his eye being extinguished, so I adopted him in March of 1989.

Bio:
Buck liked to travel and lived in or visited many of the western states, including spending a year in the Aluetians Islands in Alaska. He had a great sense of humor and enjoyed playing tricks on people and other animals. He loved people and in his later years volunteered as a therapy dog in a local nursing home. He passed over the rainbow bridge in May of 2000.
