Arrival Story:
zorra was adopted from the travis co. animal shelter.

zorra was a FREAK when she was younger... she opened sealed glass jars, climbed chain link fences, and was notorious for houdini escapes. She could fetch and jump for frisbees longer than you would care to throw them. She could trick anyone into playing fetch with a ball or a stick with her. She did lots of tricks: speak, "whisper" (a silent, breathy bark), down, roll over, high five, shake, and flipping bones off her nose to catch them in her mouth. She had severe arthritis, but was as happy as she could be. She raised and mentored a mini version of herself - her "little sister", frijolita. Zorra was a best friend for 10 years and will be sorely missed. RIP Feb 1996- Jan 2007
