My First Steps

Hello Diary

Sorry for not writing sooner, but Mom and Dad have been keeping me busy.

First, I went back to the doctors and I'm now 3.2 pounds. Can you believe that. I'm such a wonderful growing boy.

On Sunday, Mom took me back to Doggie Style where I got some more treats, some new squeeky toys, and get this!! Mom bought me a rain coat so that the rain won't mess up my do to much. Mom also tried to get me some booties to keep my paws clean, but they did not have my size.

Afterwards, Mom and Dad took me to visit Grandma, Grandpa, Uncle Richard and Uncle Fluffy. I tried to get Uncle Fluffy to play with me, but he just ignored me. CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT??? I just wanted to play.

Oh well. It just our first meeting. Hopefully, Uncle Fluffy will come around.

Dear Diary

Lots have happened to me since Mom and Dad brought me home. Just this past Saturday, I had my second doctor visit and I am now -- are you ready for this? 2.6 pounds. Which means that I'm a growing boy.

Mom also gave me my first bath -- which was kind of yucky, but I'm getting used to them.

When its nice outside, Mom likes to walk down 18th Street in Adams Morgan to our favorite place Doggie Style Bakery (for yummy treats) and Boutique for cool outfits. I got a new sweater to keep me warm, blue stripped shirt with "LUCKY" printed on the back, and a blue jersey shirt for sport night with Dad.

The really cool thing was I learned how to bark =) I wanted to go with Mommy into the bedroom but I'm not allowed, since I bother Sabrina too much, so I started complaining. And do you know what???...I learned how to bark, and I've been barking ever since.

That's all for now. Hopefully, this weekend is a nice so that mom can take me for more walks around the neighborhood, and hopefully get to meet some nice dogs to play with.
