Well, it turns out I was home all along. The reason no one adopted me is because I was supposed to stay with my foster mom and Bella and Sunny.
I couldn't stay very long, though. I'm sorry I had to leave so soon, but I am in a safe place now, where my coat is thick and my eyes are clear and nothing will ever hurt me.

I still don't have a home. My foster mom will take care of me for as long as I need her, but it sure would be nice to have a home of my own.
My skin is much better now. I have very nice tiger-stripey coat. I'm still waiting for my eye surgery - the vet doesn't want to do it until my skin is all the way better.
That's about all, I'm just waiting to get better and waiting for a home.

p.s. Bella wants me to read her manifesto, but I don't know what that is. Doesn anyone know what a manifesto is?

I have entropion. My foster mom is sad, but she's also relieved, because now we know why my eyes are always red and runny. It's pretty easy to fix, but I do have to go to the vet for surgery.
My foster mom has some friends who are going to help pay for the surgery. Gosh, people are so nice. I've never even met them, but they want to help me. My foster mom says that we'll have the money soon, and then I'll get eyes fixed.

Lots of people have been calling my foster mom and asking about me. I even went for a trial visit with some nice people. But I haven't found my forever home yet.
My foster mom says it's not my fault. All the people who have seen me say that I'm very nice and sweet and good. One family was interested in me, but then the dad got laid off, so the decided not to get a dog yet. I had nothing to do with that, I promise. Another family liked me a lot, but their cat didn't like me. I am good with cats, it's just that this cat was super sensitive and special. The people said, "It's not Lucy, it's our cat. Lucy would be fine with most cats." So you see, it really isn't my fault.
The good news is that I've been growing fur. Lots of it! I'm starting to look like a real fuzzy dog!
I know that if I'm patient, I'll find my perfect forever home soon.

I'm Lucy.
I'm usually pretty quiet, but my foster mom said that I should speak up and say something about myself. So, um... I'm Lucy. Oh, I already said that.
It's nice here with my foster mom, but I'd like to find a home of my own. I know that I'm not real flashy looking, and I'm not tiny, and I'm not a baby. But I'm a good girl, and I won't chew your shoes or make messes in your house, I promise.
I like going for walks, and I like meeting people, and I like playing with other dogs. But mostly I like people. My favorite part of the day is in the evening when I get to curl up with my foster mom and watch TV. But I know that my foster mom isn't forever. I think if I found a forever mom or dad, I'd be the happiest dog in the world.
