Arrival Story:
Holly is a rescue dog who was beaten, starved, and hit with sticks by an evil old lady also she was absolutely infested with fleas... When she turned 9 years old she was then rescued by an alcoholic who cleared up her fleas and gradually helped her trust humans again.. but the alcoholics problem got worse and she started to leave holly alone for days on end while she was feeding her drinking habit, little did she know there was a cancer inside holly's liver starting to grow. fortunately when holly was 11 years old the alcoholic wanted to move to portugal and decided to rehome holly and luckily we wanted a dog so she let us have her.. since then holly has had major surgery for the cancer but sadly the vet didnt catch it all.. the vet said she wouldve only lived two more weeks if we hadntve taken her in.. so its only a matter of waiting now but we're so glad to have given this sweet little girl a happy home in her last days.
