Arrival Story:
We had recently lost the sweetest dog that ever lived. Her name was Megan. I was very depressed without her. We went to a local pet store just to look, although I had always loved Shelties, and once Gracie was held by her daddy....it was all over. She was ours. Nothing like that pointed nose to make me smile again.

I was the pretty baby who made my mommy and daddy smile after losing their dog Megan. Mom was expecting our baby boy when they adopted me. I didn't quite understand what I was in for with these people but when they walked in the house with that brand new baby boy and told me he was my baby brother, I melted. I smelled his head and licked him and was delighted that they let me. Mom and I didn't get much sleep when he was tiny, but it was worth it. Sometimes, she and I would crash together in bed, after FINALLY getting him to sleep for a while. He grew and grew and it's been 2 1/2 years now! He and I are best buddies. I get hugs and kisses and he brushes me and feeds me and steals me doggie treats and brings me my toys and even shares his blankies with me when he thinks I might be sad. This is the sweetest little human being and I love him to pieces! Mom and dad just bought a house on the lake and we're moving next week. I found out that the neighbors there have 2 Shelties! I can't wait to play with them.....but they'll never be as special to be with as Kevin, my baby brother and friend.
