Arrival Story:
We lost our beloved pug, Ginger, in the summer of 2004. I didn't think the sadness would ever go away.
Right before Christmas 2004, I visited the pound. There was a little white dog, cowering in the back of the dog run. She was terribly skinny and heartworm positive. I didn't think anyone would adopt a heartworm positive dog because of the vet costs, so I took her home.
After several months of hospital stays and heartworm treatments, Zoe is now heartworm-free and a cherished member of the family.
Bio:
Zoe has excelled in obedience and agility class. Her mom, dad and grandma too are terribly proud of her.
