Makai and the pool

During the process of building our pool, our dogs were very interested in each phase. After the gunite was done, Makai would go in the pool and lay down in the dirty water. Some days she would just lay down near the pool and just stare into it. Now that the pool is finished, she is in doggy heaven. Everytime she goes outside, she wants to go for a swim. Sometimes she just swims laps for fun. She was a little tentative of the pool sweep, but she loves to watch the way it moves. We recently put a solar cover on the pool and during the process I fell into the pool and my loyal Makai jumped in to see if I was alright. She is on her way to becoming a good lifesaver.
