My new collar

Well Mum finally gave up on the Citronella collar. I knew she would if I just kept barking, but I didn't think it would take her this long. Thank god she would rather spend her money buying herself new shoes.

It felt great to have that thing gone from around my neck and freedom was mine..well for a few brief moments anyway. Next thing out comes Mum with my brand new bright orange collar. As if the colour wasn't horrible enough, when she put it on me I felt these two prongy things in my neck I had no idea what they were for...until I barked. Man what a shocking experience, but it sure did shut me up quick smart.

Mum is very happy because I have barked only a few very short barks in the past day so she thinks she has won. We'll see..after all they don't call me Lucyfer for nothing :)

Since this morning was Sunday I thought I would wake my family up at 6.00am with a wonderful rendition of the Lucy Concerto. Funny, I don't think Mum appreciated it though. She opened the laundry door and came out into the back yard with her nightie stilll on, looking very sleepy and told me to be quiet.

When I knew she was safely back in bed I barked a few more times. After all that's what they get for taking that smelly collar off me. Mmmm..I love the smell of Cintronella in the morning. Maybe tomorrow morning I will start barking at 5.00am :)
