Dog days :)

missing Daisy

Chrissy said she's gone. Gone where? I miss her and her floppy ears. I still look for her around the house like she's hiding from me. Chrissy keeps crying when she looks at a picture of Daisy, and crying " I miss you Daisy Duke". So go get her silly lady, I miss her too. Yeah, I know she can't. She told me that. Told me she had died and was gone until I die too. That's sad. I'm sad. Boo to being sad. When I go in my crate I'm all alone, and it gets cold, so I cry, sometimes at 2am, which Chrissy and Tim don't like but I'm so sad I keep crying anyway. I won't leave Chrissy's side during the day, incase she decides to leave and never come back I'm going with her. Maybe they'll get me a new friend to play with soon. I hope so. I'm lonely. Bye bye Crazy Daisy. I'll meet you on the rainbow bridge (wherever that is...Chris says it is in heaven, but I don't know where THAT is either, I am only 1 year old) . I'll miss playing with your ears, and playing tug.

wow, it's been a while huh?

Well, the backpacking trip a few weeks ago was a blast. I met a dog named blue who was HUGE and black...Chris said he was the biggest black lab she had ever seen. He was backpacking with his owners too. We slept in the same shelter...and I use the word "slept" lightly. I mostly guarded Chris all night, and growled at things moving in the shadows. Chris said it was just leaves in the wind but I don't know. Daisy was SOOO jealous of me. When we got back she wouldn't leave me or Chris alone. I think she thought we left for good! Silly little sister. I love her. She is now my cuddle buddy, and I sometimes let her go to the foodbowl first....sometimes, unless there are real yummies in there like leftover meatloaf...then it's mine. :) well. backpacking!

We're leaving early saturday morning for my very first backpacking trip!!! SO EXCITED! Chris said that I look adorable in my new backpack and it is just going to be us two. Daisy can't come and I think she's jealous :) HAHA, ptthhht, I'll show you to make me share my toys and bed and food ! just kidding...I LOOOOVE Daisy Duke, and she is turning out to be a lot of fun, but Chris said she is still too little to go along. So sad...not! :)
