Likes:
Bread, Peanut butter, carrots, food, any food, did I mention Peanut butter, food, more food, anything edible, bread, croissants, baquettes, did I mention Peanut butter?, more bread, anything doughy, bread and peanut butter, is there an end?.....

Pet-Peeves:
Not being allowed on the couch. Not being fed first thing in the morning....preferably as early as possible, like, uh,,,,6 am.

Favorite Toy:
Any stuffed toy, which will be carefully torn apart at the seams, and the stuffing will then be thoroughly spread all over the floor. Why do they stuff these things??? After destuffing, the toy is shredded and ready for recycling.

Favorite Food:
Well, i said that up "what I like most"...so here I'll say that I love belly scratches too, even tho' it's not food.

Favorite Walk:
The school yard....do you know that there are kids that don't eat all their sandwiches and throw them away????? Burp

Best Tricks:
Well, I am not supposed to sleep on the bed at night, when both mom and dad are there, cuz then there is no room for mom.....but about 5am, when everyone is fast asleep, i can sneak up onto the bed, so quietly, and stretch myself full length alongside mom

Arrival Story:
Bardot is a brood bitch for the Israel Guide Dog Center for the Blind. I puppy raised a GSD for them, and in August 2004, on Zita's callback day, I took over Bardot as a foster mom. I wasn't really sure if i wanted to keep her, she is large, noisy, eats all over the place...but I slowly fell in love with the big goof. She is the gentlest, kindest, easygoing, good-natured soul you could ever meet. She has done alot to help l'il miss Honey, our new adopted sister dog. She loves her and plays with her and shows her that living here is fun and not threatening. Last October, she had her first litter. Only one pup, but she also fostered two more pups from another bitch, who whelped one day later and had 10 puppies. All three are now being puppyraised. Looking forward to next October, for another litter.

Bio:
Bardot was born in NewYork, USA and puppyraised for the IGDCB in Texas, where she learned that Peanut Butter is yummy. She was deemed unsuitable for guide work, due to stress attacks, and was promoted to "brood bitch". (but she is the nicest bitch in the world!!!)

Forums Motto:
Bardot-IGDCB brood bitch.

The story of the sock

Have I mentioned that I like to eat?

Well, 13 days ago, my mom had "great" idea. To make a little toy by putting a few pieces of kibble into a sock, and knotting it. She thought it would encourage me to fetch. She has this weird notion that Labrador RETREIVER means that I should go racing after stuff she throws and bring it back. Since when is that the definition of "retreive"....???

Well, she made this toy, and threw it. And i got it and I wanted that kibble. I am really great at shredding fabric stuff....stuffed toys are a specialty. But this sock refused to be shredded. So I had no alternative....I just swallowed the whole thing.
Down it went, kibble, knot and all. HA HA HA...you should have seen the look on mom's face.

Anyways, for the past thirteen days, mom has had the most intense look when I do my "business".....last night it finally passed....ha ha...the end of my story.
