Arrival Story:
I was looking for an Australian shepherd puppy, but when I told Mike Boughton, the breeder, my "dream dog," he said, "Hmmm, let me introduce you to Bianca." This 6-month-old ball of energy came barrelling into the room and straight at me. She was the blue merle with two different colored eyes I had said I wanted, but I wasn't prepared for a dog that was nearly full grown in size, if not in temperament. Two hours later, she had made it clear that she wanted to be with me, whatever it took. I didn't have a choice--not that I wanted one.
Bio:
Daisy is the half sibling of Star, Randy and Nellie, all of whom she sees occasionally at the off-leash dog park. Her best friends are Jack, Rosa, Nick and Ralph, all Aussies (and all from the same breeder) and Rusty, a smooth-coated collie. But she pretty much likes any dog that doesn't try to beat up on her.
