Arrival Story:
Dickens joined us when our Brittany, Chaucer, died.

Bio:
Dickens taught us about courage and being positive. Two years ago he lost his sight to retinal degeneration; then he got cancer (sarcolymphoma). He was never crabby, and loved every day he had. I took him for daily walks in our new neighborhood, and although he couldn't see, he was clearly thrilled. He suddenly and miraculously knew "left," "right," and "stay" on those walks. He was given less than a month to live, but made it through 5-1/2 more quality months. He was our brave, loving boy.
