Arrival Story:
She was kept in a shed until I rescued her at one year old - she has an overshot jaw, so the breeder couldn't show or sell her. She was called Bubbles, too - that got changed to Spider (due to uncanny resemblance to a spider monkey). We put Spud in the car to drive her home and she never even looked back ...

Bio:
Spider's a German Spitz, and a real star in our village - kids often mistake her for a lamb, or a kitten. And I was once asked if it was legal to keep a koala bear as a pet! She's wonderful - I love her so much. She was diagnosed with an enlarged heart and heart failure a couple of months ago, but she seems to be doing pretty well. We got her an Outward Hound dog papoose and she sits in that if she struggles on a walk. She loves it - gives her 360 degree views over the countryside. Harold has just been diagnosed with exactly the same thing - and with her weighing over 4st, we're going to have to buy a much bigger papoose! Nowt wrong with Ted, thank goodness - so far ...
