Arrival Story:
I have been wanting a Yorkshire Terrier for a very long time. I kept saying I would wait until my kids were all in school, but suddenly I could wait no longer so I started asking my husband if it was o.k. He kept putting it off since he was really not wanting a small dog. When I realized that he was quite serious, I had to step it up a notch and start begging and bribing! Well, it worked and Sophia became my Valentine's Day gift for 2005.

Bio:
Sophia was actually the second pup that I considered...the first one had a heart problem so I had to take her back to the breeder after just one day. It was so sad. But, that same day I went to visit a new breeder and met and fell in love with my sweet Sophia. I could tell she loved me too...she just cuddled into me and stopped shaking right away and did not want me to put her down. It was LOVE at first site. I had to wait about a week and a half before I could bring her home. I know the breeder was sick of my e-mails, hee hee! I just love Sophia so much...much, much more than I ever thought I could. She is definitely the next best thing to my human kids!!

First day on Dogster

Dear Diary,
Today has been a pretty good day. Mommy made me take a bath though and I really did not like it when she kept trying to put my hair in a top not! She also cut my nails and one bled...ouch! But, I know she loves me and after all that she let me take a nap with her....which of course is my favorite thing to do!

Yesterday I went to Victor's baseball game. It was cold outside, but mom had me all wrapped up and warm inside her jacket. I took a nap and couldn't have been happier. I think I did a pretty good job of keeping her warm too!

Well, time to head to bed...getting sleepy. Mom keeps me up pretty late most nights....at least she lets me sleep in such a comfy bed though!
