Why does my mum spend so much time packing?

I have the feeling something big is going to happen. My living room is filled with boxes and mum keeps pulling things out and placing them in various locations. She is spending too much time doing this and not enough time playing with me. I figured she'd get the hint when I jump on her lap even though there is other stuff on it. Or when I pull things out of the trash to chew on and decorate the apartment with. The kicker was when I caught her in the bedroom with a pile of my toys on the bed. I jumped right up and bulldozed them making sure I gave a nice sniff and chew to each one. She's not packing those yet! For now I think I just sit and stare at her until it is timefor our evening stroll.
