Arrival Story:
My sister was looking for a small dog to be a companion for her older dog Rocko that was lonely and depressed. So we went and looked at her and her sister, they lived on a farm not far away. We get to the farm and a whole passel of dogs come running out to bark at us. The Father- a purebred short-hair mini dachshund, the Mother, a rottweiler and the Aunt from a previous litter. As we got closer to the house we saw a barn and coming barreling out of the barn are two of the cutest stubby legged puppies. We talked to the owners and found out there were only two puppies left. So we looked at the puppies and I immediately fell in love with Andy. One look into those huge brown eyes and I knew she was going home with me. My sister wanted the other dog though, so we comprised we took them both. I had been wanting a dog of my own for a few months and this was solution. And that is how Andy came to be a part- the full foundation- of our family.
