Birthday: March 28th 2002 Likes: He loves to play with other dogs, he loves the water, he loves for people to visit him at the house, he loves to go for rides in the car and for walks. Pet-Peeves: He doesn't have any; he loves everyone and everything! Favorite Toy: His squeaky green monster to play with; his stuffed pig to suck on after dinner Favorite Food: People food! Favorite Walk: Fort Funston, Ocean Beach & walking to Starbuck's every morning. Best Tricks: He can count. Arrival Story: My husband was in London for work and called to check up on me. I asked if I could have a dog, a big dog, and he said yes! So, I researched the breed and found out that the Newfoundland was perfect for us! After 2 years of researching, I finally found the right breeder. And, May 21, 2002, my husband and I picked up Bennett at the San Jose airport. I'm not sure my husband understood exactly what I meant by "big dog" when we talked over the phone. I think he was thinking I'd want a Golden Retriever. But, now we know that Newfs are just normal size dogs! Bio: Bennett just turned two years old at the end of March and we just had his OFA x-rays taken of his hips and elbows. YIPPEE! Bennett is OFA certified now for his hips and elbows - they came out GREAT! Bennett came from a litter of 10 pups and all his brothers and sisters are also OFA certified!
