I like when people come to visit me at my house. I am a sucker for attention and affection. And I love to curl up and sleep next to my owners. I also really like to walk. And eat. And play. **See below.
Pet-Peeves:
I don't like small yappy dogs, especially when they yap in my face. I'm bigger - why do they think they can do that to me?!?
Favorite Toy:
Hmmm... just one? I have lots! I love my new dead chicken squeakie, and then there's my green mummy squeaky, and my stick squeaky, and Puff the Dragon puppet, and of course my ball... and what about my shoe squeaky??!?
Favorite Food:
Whatever is left on a dinner plate. I love human food. Especially peanut butter and popcorn. And I really like the eggs Papa makes me every morning on the sly when we visit him in Victoria, Texas.
Favorite Walk:
Anywhere. Just leash me up and I am ready to go. I am a walking machine. But maybe it's my morning walk with my mama - I get really cranky if I don't go on that walk everyday!
Best Tricks:
I do sit, shake and lay down really well. I can do "off" -- when someone puts a treat down in front of me and tells me "off" I will not eat the treat until they say OK. I am still working on roll-over.
Arrival Story:
I was living at Town Lake Animal Shelter in Austin, Texas, when my owners walked by with another dog. My daddy saw me and it was love at first sight. I was so happy to have some attention - because let's face it: I was the most adorable puppy - but I was sharing a cage with a cute fluffy Golden Retriever puppy, so hardly anyone noticed me. My owners filled out an adoption application that day, and not even a week later they took me home in a stylin' pink collar.
Bio:
I am a very adaptable dog. I am great on long car trips, and don't freak out when we move to new places. Since adopting me, my owners and I have lived in Austin, Texas, Minneapolis, Minnesota, Bentonville, Arkansas, Newport Beach, California, Atlanta, Georgia, and now back in Minneapolis. But no matter where we live I am a southern dog at heart, and my daddy would like you to know that I bleed burnt orange. Hook 'em!

I may or may not have killed a chipmunk yesterday. Either way, I definitely had a dead chipmunk in my mouth. Daddy says I am not allowed to kiss the small human for a good long while.

Or part of one. Part of my daddy's nerf football. Daddy's favorite football. Uh-oh. I don't know why I did it. Probably because daddy is traveling and mama spends so much time tending to the little human. I was sad. So I ate the football. I hope I don't get in trouble... either way I will be so happy tomorrow when daddy comes home.

Today the small human dropped many treats for me. I am really beginning to love him. However, he did try to pull out some of the hair on my tail tonight. Might have to keep thinking about this...
