Mystic Magic Jolly-Boe 1999.02.07 - 2012.12.05

I am just now able to update Moopie's profile and write a final diary entry for him. My sweet baby Moopie was unexpectedly diagnosed with stage three kidney failure on October 10, 2012. Together we fought his illness for almost two months. His good health and puppy like personality were quickly stolen from him. However, he was so brave & his will to live was so incredibly powerful. Unfortunately, his little body wasn't as strong as his spirit and I was forced to say good-bye to him for the last time on December 5, 2012. Moopie was cremated. I brought him home for the last time & forever on December 11, 2012.

I miss him terribly and I always will...

Moopie is Possessed!

He is early for Halloween. The camera flash caught his eyes and reveal his true personality. He's a little demon! :-)

Moopie and his Loofa-Lu

Mommy went to Petsmart and came back with this new funny looking doggie toy. She said I would love it! Then she told me about some silly commercial on the TV for Petsmart. And how the puppy in the commercial had the same toy and loved it very much. I don't know about the doggie on TV but I do love the toy so much! So very, very much! You can see me with my Loofa-Lu in my main picture.

Mom Got a New Camera!

and won't stop taking my picture. She makes movies of me with it then the camera barks at me. And I don't like it!!!

Spoiled Little Puppy!

My mom spoils me rotten. In the last picture, you can see the new pink and green striped polo she bought me from The Gap. My one shirt cost more than two t-shirts she got for herself. But I still stuck my tongue out at her when she took this picture! :-)

The New Moopie Dictionary

Moopie’s vocabulary is broader than most people I encounter on the street.

He knows, “I can’t reach it!” He will bring his toy closer to you when you say this. He’ll put it on top of your head if needed. When someone won’t play with him, he stuffs his toys under furniture. Then he barks and pretends not to be able to reach the toy. Hence, Moopie now knows, “I’m gonna take it away!” He hears those words and magically he retrieves the unreachable toy. He knows the names of his toys. Of course there are the standard doggie words like, “go, bye-bye, treat, outside.”

His new phrase or trick is, “Baby Growl!” He will growl when you pick him up and say the words, “Baby growl.”

Moopie-isms

I like to Dance! I do the Mooperana!

Mommy makes up songs about me all the time.

To the tune of "Hot Child in the City" She calls it "Little Moo in the City, really cute and lookin' pretty!"

And she also sings, "I'm too sexy for my furr." she says the real words are something like "I'm too sexy for my hat..." She makes me do a dance and shake my booty too...

I really think she is kinda weird, but I love her anyway! :-)
