Arrival Story:
I was absolutely determined to never ever have a puppy!! They are sooooo much work. I lost my pomeranian a few months ago and heard a story of how little Daisy needed a foster home. Well, being the sucker that i am - can never say no to a dog in need, Daisy came to stay :) She is such a little darling that i feel hopelessly in love with her, she is the most adoring, good natured puppy i've ever me (no!! i'm not biased!), she tries so hard for all the other animals to like her and has received a few swats to the nose from the cranky cats. Max (my senior dog) and Daisy have started to play and i think he thinks that Daisy is pawwwsitively purrrrfect as well :)

Daisy's a Doll !!

Daisy is now on day #3 and she is perfect. She is the most wonderful foster pup i've ever had. She's had only one accident in the house and she went on the paper (so not even an accident).

She sleeps through the night and i'm the big sucker who lets her sleep on the bed. She snuggled up with both me and Max and slept a full 7 hours!! I had to wake her up this morning to go outside.

She has sit down perfectly and when rewarded with a little piece of chicken, sits like a dream. She is walking much better on the leash now. I don't let her go outside without it - - i'm too worried (she's quick on her feet and her puppy recall isn't so great!! she sees something fun and she's off!).

The two older crabby cats aren't finding her too amusing, but that's okay. The kitten (chloe) thinks she's kinda neat and Daisy seems to want to play with her. Max is very jelous but starting to warm up to her a little bit - he's very protective of her as well. He snips at the grumpy cats if they get to close!! It's very cute.

She's already very attached and doesnt like me to be too far out of sight. She is meeting her dog walker this afternoon and she will come three days a week while i'm working.

Tonight is the first time i'm going to be leaving her and i've picked up baby gates for the kitchen - - more to protect her from the crabby cats.
