Arrival Story:
I was in deep mourning when I lost our beautiful Highland Terrier Zoe. Zoe was accidentally killed in the drive way when I backed out not knowing she was out of the house running to get in the car. It was one of the saddest days of my life when we lost Zoe. After about 1 year, Dad went by the pound in Sikeston, Missouri to look at puppies. From many puppies, I saw Simon leading his pack and knew he was a born leader and very smart. I picked him and instantly fell in love with his great personality. He is the smartest and most loving dogs I own. Besides his Lab sister Sasha.

Dad has been working his code fingers to the bone lately. He made some photographs and promised to upload them to my web site but he has been so-o-o-o-o busy. But you know what, he is never too busy to love on me and play frisbee with me. He loves my sister, Sasha, a bunch! He said he will get busy building a site for Sasha.

Sasha and I just about went out of our minds today. Mr. Squirrel decided to have supper right in front of our window! The nerve of that rascal sitting there and eating in front of us. Good thing that glass pane was between us or I would have . . . . I would have . . . . good grief. Dad always says that if we ever got one to those brown critters we wouldn't know what to do. What does he know, humph.

Tomorrow morning I have a great plan of attack when we see him run in the back yard. Sasha and I like Mr. Squirrel and he is great fun trying to catch. His favorite trick is to scamper up the tree trunk and sit just out of reach. We could get him if we wanted to.

Oh well, I am just waiting for tomorrow morning when Dad will take us for a walk. Mom took us Thursday. It was fantastic. I was so excited that I didn't even bother to take a drink when I got home, I just rushed out into the back yard to catch frisbee.

Well, I am going to finish my supper. That bowl keeps slipping out of my mouth when I carry it room to room to eat. Then there is Sasha sitting right next to me waiting for me to spill some food. She gets on my nerves each time she follows me. Now I am going to play some catch with Dad in the bedroom. I just love my purple and blue dolls when they go sailing through the air. Until later, hope all my new corral friends have a great weekend with their families. Woof! Two paws up!

Dad and Me

You know, my Dad is the one I love the most. He plays with me every day and I can't wait to see him when he comes home. Even if he has been gone 10 minutes, it seems likes hours. I sit on the edge of my couch and watch the world go by in a big window.

The best part of the day is when Mr. Squirrel comes right up to the window edge, about 3 paws away and I can really scare him with my loud barking. He must be a deaf little fella cause he just sits there and eats in front of me. Like I'm not there.

Any way, glad you came by to see me. Dad just loves to show me off. I am always ready to meet anyone, but when Dad shows me off on the internet, it kinda embarrasses me. He loves it. I put up with it. I can't wait to play frisbee this evening and listen to the St. Louis Cardinals. Dad always calls me his Cardinal Dog. Go Cardinals! They are in first place!

P. S. Dad can't wait to introduce my sister, Sasha Lou Ann. . . .
