Arrival Story:
A friend from my husbands job had a female dog outside that kept getting pregnant. We fell in love with one of the puppies and decided that we had to have him in our home. He has been the best dog. I have purebreds that I love but I do have to say Caine is more affectionate then they are. He is very protective of me and the kids. He isn't too fond of the hubby though.

My Diary

Our special boy

Caine is a very special boy. I love him with all my heart. I love all my dogs but Caine is truly my heart dog. He may be a little intimidating to others but I know that he is a big teddy bear. He is very devoted to his family. He has been such a joy and never wants anything but love. My special boy is now getting older. We had him to the vet last Feb and his heart and lungs were great. His only problem was a little arthritis in his one paw. Now it is the end of October and we have watched him decline. He is going blind and deaf. He seems to limp more. My heart aches at the thought of him not being here. When I go to bed I hope and pray for just that one more day. Hopefully those days will turn into weeks, months and if I am lucky maybe even a year. Caine boy you are the best.
