Why Can't Everyone Just Relax??

Vacation on the Beach!!!

Last week my mom and dad and Topher and I went to Topsail Beach, NC. My mom and dad were really worried about taking me to the beach because I don't travel really well. But mom kept saying that she thought it was important for me to go. So off we went, we packed up the car and drove through the night and arrived last Saturday at my mom's favorite vacation spot. I now know why she likes it so much. (I have a secret...my mom and dad think I'm more helpless than I really am, but while I was on the beach, I think my secret got out). At home I don't like stairs but when I saw the beach and the ocean, the stairs didn't matter and I ran down to the beach and loved it!! I loved the sand and the water and just sitting with my mom watching the birds and relaxing in the sun. And I slept the best I have ever slept, being able to hear the sound of the waves through my window. I can't wait for next year to go back.

My Diary Title

My mom told me I have to explain why I titled my diary this way. I have one brother, Topher, and a cousin (Bailey) and my mom and dad fosters Norwegian Elkhounds all the time. I'm getting a little older than the rest of my family but I still like to have fun. BUT Topher and Bailey and even the cats think they have to run around and be crazy all the time. They haven't seemed to learn that some of the best times in life are the times you can lay down, relax, and enjoy looking out the window. If you can't tell, I like to sleep and sometimes the other dogs and cats in the house don't like to let me sleep. I do have to admit that they are kind of funny to watch most of the time, maybe it's not too bad...I'll keep you updated on funny things they do, they don't know I'm watching. I can be sneaky because they always think I'm sleeping :-)
